21 days of hope

“He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” 

                                                              Isaiah 40:29-31 NIV

          What a promise for those who hope in the Lord! I love what verse 31 says if translated literally, "Those expecting God, pass to power." Wait! What? Those who put their expectation for strength, energy, and stamina in God actually walk right smack into it. You can actually walk through today (and everyday) supernaturally empowered. There's only one catch. That is WHERE you put your hope. 

          So, were you hoping that 8 hours of sleep would be refreshing and renewing? Were you expecting that coffee to give you the "pick-me-up" you need to get moving? Still dragging yourself around? Put your hope in God right now! Wherever you are right now ask him for strength, power and stamina and then get to moving because the promise is you'll walk right into it.
